Have You Tried The Wellness Collection By Bath & Body Works?

I was walking through the mall recently on my way to pick up an online order, when I was pulled into Bath and Body Works. Thanks to their mailer coupons, I was enticed by the savings in combination with the advertised sales that day.

While I try to be careful about ‘clean’ ingredients, I’m also a sucker for some good scents and strategic branding. The display for their new body care Wellness Collection piqued my interest. The collection boasts no artificial dyes and that none of the products are tested on animals. I hadn’t done a face mask in a very long time, and my generic exfoliating body wash was running low. Combine all of the above with the stacked savings, and I was sold!

Thus, I walked out with a few soaps from their Gentle and Clean collection (made without parabens, sulfates, or dyes), and a few products from the new Wellness Collection.

Here’s what I got and here’s what I thought:

Blueberry Extract Moisturizing Body Wash

The first product I tried was the body wash with blueberry extract. It felt very silky and moisturizing. My skin was not dry to begin with so it’s hard to say how much of a difference it made as far as before and after hydration. It smells great though! I think it’s definitely worth a try if you’re looking for added moisture.

Pomegranate Extract Gently Exfoliating Fruit Scrub

The next one I tried was the exfoliating fruit scrub with pomegranate extract. I love using an exfoliating scrub in the shower; it just feels more clean, ha! The exfoliating scrub felt good and smelled even better. The packaging is nice but I didn’t like having the whole open container in the shower, as was trying not to get it all wet. I’m used to a vertical squeeze type bottle, ha.

Pomegranate Extract Cleansing Clay Detox Mask

The final product I tried was the cleansing clay mask with pomegranate extract. The mask felt luxurious when I smoothed onto my face. The mask stiffened as it dried and I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to intentionally move or try not to move…Like I said, it had been long time since I’d done a mask! I waited a little over ten minutes, as the directions said, then washed off. My skin felt incredibly soft!
