The Silent Woman by Minka Kent 🎧 This was a go

The Silent Woman by Minka Kent 🎧

This was a good, light thriller about a man with two wives...the new wife lives in the main house, while the first wife resides in the guest cottage with nurses tending to her daily.

The new wife knows there was a horrible accident which left the first wife different & unable to speak. She is told not to go to the cottage. The husband alone manages the care of his first wife.

The two women have never met, until one day, help is needed & the new wife steps in.

Well, the plot may seem predictable, but there are some good twists & turns along the way.

I enjoyed this one & recommend adding it to your list if you haven't read it already!

As we've gotten closer to the end of the school year, there have been fewer library books & assigned readings, so my kids have gotten more into the books from their Easter baskets, ha!

Happy Publication Day to Still Life With Lobster by Tana Jenkins! 🦞

This is a cute enemy to lovers, opposites attract, romance. There are strong, successful women (namely, Dr. St James), a moody misunderstood man (lawyer Chase Sunders), & a couple of misunderstandings - personal & professional.

Set in the Detroit, MI area there are also lots of local references to island lake life that make me want to drive the couple hours from Columbus to experience some of what Jenkins wrote about our neighbor to the North. ⛵️

I breezed through this enjoyable romance & can't wait to read more about the St. James sisters, now that I've been introduced to this collection! (The books are stand-alone & don't need to be read in order.)

I made some revisions to the tune of The Nap Time

I made some revisions to the tune of The Nap Time Song this past week for the Spanish language version.

🎶 Hice algunas revisiones a la melodía de The Nap Time Song la semana pasada para la versión en español.

Then, I created revisions of the music for the illustrations.

🎶 Luego, creé revisiones de la música para las ilustraciones.

I'm at the point where I just need to set some time aside to finish formatting & make final decisions on word choice. Then I can order my proof copy!
